Thai Bodywork
Thai Bodywork is an umbrella term that generally describes working with the human body.
With Thai bodywork you can influence your body in such a way that blockages, tension, resistance and energy build-up dissolve on several levels, e.g. the fascia, muscle and nervous system.
The results are:
A change in your external and internal posture
Body-mind perception
Movements become fluid
Significant increase in energy
Inner and outer balance
Improved stress tolerance and resilience
During a session, the bodyworker uses palms, thumbs, fingers, and body weight to apply firm yet responsive pressure. Sessions typically take place on a mat on the floor, allowing for a wide range of movements and stable leverage. The quality of touch is steady, present, and respectful, adapting to the individual needs of each client.
Effect of Thai-Yoga Bodywork
Thai Bodywork, also known as Nuad, Thai Yoga Bodywork, or Thai Yoga Massage, is a holistic form of bodywork that focuses on improving the flow of energy in the body while supporting physical alignment, mobility, and deep relaxation. Rooted in traditional Thai healing systems, this therapeutic approach combines mindful touch, rhythmic pressure, and assisted stretching to support both body and nervous system regulation.
Influenced by yoga, Thai Bodywork incorporates dynamic, assisted stretches that gently mobilize joints, lengthen muscles, and improve flexibility. These movements are applied with awareness and precision, allowing the body to open gradually rather than being forced. The practice is both grounding and enlivening, making it suitable for people seeking therapeutic bodywork, stress relief, or improved body awareness.
A central element of Thai Bodywork is the application of pressure along specific energy lines (Sen lines). This aspect of the practice is influenced by Ayurveda and Chinese acupuncture, acknowledging the close relationship between physical structures, energy flow, and overall well-being. By working along these pathways, Thai Bodywork aims to release physical tension, reduce stagnation, and support a balanced flow of energy throughout the body.
Thai Bodywork is often described as gentle yet firm. It can feel deeply relaxing while at the same time creating a sense of space, clarity, and vitality in the body.

“For me, the experience that I had with Nikoleta was amazing. It was the best massage that I ever had! It was the first time that I had tried Thai-Yoga Massage and it helped me to evacuate some anxiety. I felt so much better afterwards.”
