Ayurveda nutrition and self-care and beauty routines are incorporated in workshops and retreats, as it complements our yoga practice.

Ayurveda means nothing less than the science of life. It is a 5000 year old knowledge and health system from the Indian subcontinent. Despite its age, it is more relevant than ever to our fast-paced lifestyles.

Ayurveda is very much about disease prevention and the supportive treatment of a whole range of diseases that often result from our eating and living habits.

In its simplest form, it is a complementary treatment and can easilty be integrated in your daily routing and will lead to sustainable and visible changes in everyday life and health.

The dietary component can be supported by herbal and powder mixtures taken over a certain period of time as well as manual treatments.

Ayurveda for Women’s Health

In retreats and workshops we have a closer look to the topic of women’s health and holistic approaches, i.e. self-massage, oils, use of ghee, use of herbs, yoni steaming, etc.

Ayurveda there are many general and practical recommendations that help women to maintain a stable health and reach or keep a balanced constitution

The metabolism of a woman is very sensitive to all hormonal changes during the monthly cycle and within the three big stages of life from youth, maturity and age. A coordinated diet and behaviour not only influence the mental and physical condition of women. It also serves as basis of all preventive and therapeutic measures for the treatment of women's ailments.

Bodywork

Bodywork is an umbrella term that generally describes working with the human body.

A nuad thai-yoga bodywork session focuses on improving the flow of energy in the body. Sessions are offered in Vienna and in retreats.

With bodywork you can influence your body in such a way that blockages, tension, resistance and energy build-up dissolve on several levels, e.g. the fascia, muscle and nervous system.

The results are:

  • A change in your external and internal posture

  • Body-mind perception

  • Movements become fluid

  • Significant increase in energy

  • Inner and outer balance

  • Improved stress tolerance and resilience

Breathwork & Energy-Boosting Techniques

Breathwork and energy and immune system boosting techniques are powerful tools to increase one’s physical and mental health.

They are added in yoga & meditation classes, private and public, as well as in retreats.

Breathing deeply and in a regulated way activates the parasympathetic nervous system and subsequently lowers the heart rate and blood pressure and thereby creates a feeling of calm.

Energy and immune system boosting techniques derive from different energy systems. I use mainly tapping and breathing to increase support with daily vitality and resilience.
