  • Ollers is a beautiful retreat location. It is a farm and at the same time a small, fine events center with private room rental, nestled in the rolling hills of southern Burgenland. Ollers, an old farm, the former straw cutter's house in Ollersdorf with a beautiful view, has been carefully renovated.

    Spacious rooms with terraces, apartments, eat-in kitchen and two 60 m² "Ollers rooms" are available. For well-being and exercise there is a pool, a steam bath, sauna, fitness equipment, boules court, table tennis table ... and all around meadows, forests and fields with walking and bike rides.

What to expect?

This 3 nights / 4 days retreat will focus on yoga and bodywork practices that help to restore, reset and relax. These practices tackle the physical body but also the emotional body and the mind.

The mornings start with an optional meditation and pranayama practice, followed by Hatha Yoga (a traditional Tantra Yoga form). Before dinner there will be a daily yin yoga class. Two (optional) classes in Thai-Yoga Bodywork and a yoga nidra session (guided meditation) complete the programme. Between classes there is enough free time to enjoy the pool, the sauna or the beautiful landscape.

The program was set in a way that allows participants to learn and apply practical knowledge that can be used beyond the retreat duration.

Language

The classes and workshops will be held in German, unless there are participants who do not speak German. In this case we will switch to English, but can guide German-speakers additionally in German.

Pranayama and Meditation (optional)

Before the asana practice participants can join a 30 minutes pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation session.

Traditional Tantra Yoga

This is a hatha yoga style, which means the postures are practiced slowly, with enough time to hold them, one after the other. By practicing tantra yoga we aim at achieving a state of meditation during and between the asanas. The practice is slow and gentle, postures are held for longer periods but with the muscles engaged, everyone to their own abilities. In between the asanas there is time for relaxation. It looks easy and not challenging at all, but as you practice from a state of relaxation, it is very powerful nevertheless.

In this particular tantra yoga style (kaula system) students are encouraged to keep their eyes closed during the practice. This will allow them to not externalizing the experience and not be distracted by the external world.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga targets different layers of the body and mind. Participants will learn all about the aim and the benefits of this slow and grounding yoga practice. We will learn how to practice in a way that is safe, while staying longer in the postures. We will explore how to stretch and stress the body in a yin way and learn to deal with the discomfort. We will learn which acupressure points support relaxation and sometimes apply them during the yin yoga practice.

Thai-Yoga Bodywork

Bodywork can influence a body in such a way that blockages, tension, resistance and energy build-up dissolve on several levels, e.g. the fascia, muscle and nervous system. The results are significant increase in energy, inner and outer balance, improved stress tolerance and resilience and ease of physical tension. In this workshop participants will work in pairs and learn simple moves and techniques from this relaxing and impactful bodywork style.

Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation form, known as the yogic sleep. The practicioner is guided through a journey that focuses on awareness on breath, sounds, body.

It is possible to choose between apartments with a double and a single bedroom as well as double rooms.

All rooms have either a balcony or terrace.

A limited amount of single room use rooms is offered as well.

Meals

A rich brunch will be served after the morning practice. The brunch will be inspired by ayurvedic principles, offering at least one warm nourishing meal like porridge.

After the evening practice a homecooked vegetarian dinner (with vegan options upon request) will be served.

In the afternoons snacks, fruit, tea and coffee will be provided.

Your host

Nikoleta will guide you through the retreat programme.

Nikoleta was introduced to Yin yoga and Tantra yoga a few years ago and since then her teaching style has evolved in a new way. She teaches primarily these soft and gentle yoga styles, combined with breathwork and meditation.

These yoga styles are soft in nature, they might even seem unspectacular from the outside. The practitioner experiences them as very powerful and partly challenging. They enable us to turn the awareness inward and learn how to relax and to ground ourselves.

Nikoleta has 600 training hours in Yin yoga and is certified in Tantra Yoga and Meditation. She compliments her passion for relaxation techniques with training in thai-yoga bodywork and she is an Ayurveda nutritional coach.

Booking & Cancellation policy

Booking

  • Retreat package:

The early bird discount is granted to participants who transfer the deposit until March 15, 2024.

A non-refundable deposit of 225 euros is required to hold your reservation (see cancellation and refunds).

The balance is due no later than April 30, 2024 to be eligible for the discounted price.

After March 15, 2024 the non-refundable deposit amounts to 250 euros.

The balance is due no later than June 19, 2024.

Cancellation and Refunds

  • Cancellation by the organizers:

In case the retreat has to be cancelled (minimum of 6 participants by end of March 2024) by the organizer, a full refund of your payment will be issued within two weeks after the announcement of cancellation.

Deposit can only be refunded if cancelled 3 months before retreat start.

  • Accommodation:

From 2 months to 1 month before arrival 50%, from 1 month before arrival 90% of the accommodation costs.

On the day of arrival or early departure 100% of the booking value.

There will be no refunds or price deductions for arriving late or leaving early.

The transfer of your credit to another participant is possible. In this case someone else has to be nominated.
